PAINTING THOSE STORIES

PAUSE "JEDA" photography exhibition 2006

The Piegons

At that time, when I was in the second grade of junior high school in Jakarta. Like other boys, my passion in the pigeons, mainly inspired from seatmate friend  Rendi who is now deceased.

After a long time I could collect my allowance for buy two pairs of pigeons taht i keept at home, some of the tricks that have taught to me in caring for and play with pigeon a little by little I apply, until about a month there was news about a citizen of Singapore who died bird flu virus, the first time the virus has become famous.
around 4am my father woke to immediately release the pigeons that after hearing the news on television ....
The next morning the two pairs that I failed to escape with indignation hearts, but somehow the bird and then back again to the nest box that I made from scrap wood egg, almost a week of the incident is repeated. and my father is still angry.
